Sola

Sola Fotballklubb is a Norwegian association football club from Sola, Rogaland.

The women's football team played in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football, up to and including the 2012 season, after which it resigned its place in the 1. divisjon.

The men's football team currently plays in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of the Norwegian football league system, after being relegated from the 2019 2. divisjon. The club played in 3. divisjon for many years, except for the years 2006, 2009 and 2013 when it had visits in the 4. divisjon. They played in the 2. divisjon from 1997 to 1999. 2015 was the first season since 1999 that the club played in the second division.

Svein Fjælberg and Gunnar Aase has played for the team. Aase also coached the men's team in 2003 together with Børre Meinseth.

O Sola é um clube de futebol da Noruega, sediado na cidade de Tananger, no condado de Rogaland. O clube foi fundado em 1931 e compete atualmente na 2. Divisjon, a terceira divisão do futebol norueguês.

O Sola tem um estádio próprio, o Sola Arena, com capacidade para 3.000 espectadores. O clube também possui um time feminino, que compete na 1. Divisjon, a segunda divisão do futebol feminino norueguês.

O Sola tem uma rivalidade de longa data com o Viking FK, da cidade de Stavanger. Os dois clubes se enfrentam regularmente na liga e na copa da Noruega.

O maior sucesso do Sola foi o título da 2. Divisjon em 2015, que garantiu ao clube o acesso à 1. Divisjon pela primeira vez em sua história. No entanto, o Sola foi rebaixado para a 2. Divisjon após uma temporada na primeira divisão.

O Sola é um clube pequeno, mas tem uma história rica e uma torcida apaixonada. O clube é um símbolo da cidade de Tananger e é um dos principais clubes de futebol do condado de Rogaland.
