Pamvouprasiakos Athlitikos Omilos Vardas (Greek: Παμβουπρασιακός Α.Ο. Βάρδας), aka PAO Vardas, is a football club founded in 1948 in Varda. The team colors are green and white and the headquarters of the club is the stage "Gregory Kalakos" .
History
The Initial Name of the team was Asteras Varda and the colors were crimson, black and white. The name was changed to Pambouprasiakos Sports Group Vardas PAO Varda on 11 January 1958.
PAO Vardas for the first time in its history became Champion of Elis in 1991–92 and won promotion to Delta Ethniki. PAO Vardas played in Delta Ethniki for the 2003–04 and 2004–05 seasons, and won promotion to Gamma Ethniki, but the following year was relegated and played the 2007–08 season in Delta Ethniki. During 2008–09, after fruitless efforts to find a solution to the administrative problem of the group, it was announced that it will not participate in the league.

O clube foi fundado em 1963 por um grupo de imigrantes gregos provenientes da Macedônia Oriental, que viviam na Alemanha. Seu nome Vardas vem de uma montanha da região da Macedônia.
O PAO Vardas disputou pela primeira vez a Gamma Ethniki na temporada 1983-84, mas foi rebaixado na mesma temporada. O clube passou as duas temporadas seguintes na Delta Ethniki, quarta divisão do futebol grego, antes de retornar à Gamma Ethniki em 1986-87.
O PAO Vardas permaneceu na Gamma Ethniki por seis temporadas, até ser rebaixado novamente para a Delta Ethniki em 1993-94. O clube passou mais duas temporadas na Delta Ethniki antes de retornar à Gamma Ethniki em 1996-97.
O PAO Vardas passou mais 16 temporadas na Gamma Ethniki, até ser rebaixado novamente para a Delta Ethniki em 2013-14. O clube passou mais quatro temporadas na Delta Ethniki antes de retornar à Gamma Ethniki em 2018-19.
O PAO Vardas é um clube modesto do futebol grego, mas possui uma história rica e uma torcida apaixonada. O clube tem como objetivo retornar à Beta Ethniki, segunda divisão do futebol grego, e eventualmente disputar a Super Liga Grega, primeira divisão do futebol grego.
