ACS Dumbravita

Clubul Sportiv Comunal Dumbrăvița, commonly known as CSC Dumbrăvița, FC Dumbrăvița, or simply as Dumbrăvița, is a Romanian football club based in Dumbrăvița, Timiș County, which competes in the Liga II.

Founded in 2009, CSC Dumbrăvița played at the amateur level until 2018, when it promoted to the Liga III. The geographic positioning of Dumbrăvița, located near the city of Timișoara, resulted in a 168% population growth between the 2002 and 2011, and subsequently led to a significant increase in the economic strength of the commune in the recent years. In the summer of 2022, the club achieved promotion for the first time to the Liga II.

The team plays its home matches at the Stadionul Ștefan Dobay, which is named after the most notable footballer born in Dumbrăvița.

O ACS Dumbravita é um clube de futebol romeno com sede na cidade de Dumbravita, no distrito de Timiş. A equipe atualmente joga na Liga II, a segunda divisão do futebol romeno.

O clube foi fundado em 2013 e, desde então, tem subido rapidamente nas divisões inferiores do futebol romeno. Em 2017, o ACS Dumbravita conquistou o título da Liga III, a terceira divisão, e foi promovido para a Liga II.

Na temporada 2018-19, o ACS Dumbravita terminou em 6º lugar na Liga II, garantindo uma vaga nos playoffs de promoção. No entanto, a equipe foi eliminada na primeira fase pelo Petrolul Ploiești.

Na temporada 2019-20, o ACS Dumbravita está novamente competindo na Liga II. A equipe está atualmente em 10º lugar na classificação, com 21 pontos após 19 jogos.

O ACS Dumbravita joga os seus jogos em casa no Estádio Dumbravita, que tem capacidade para 1.000 espectadores. As cores oficiais do clube são o verde e o branco.

O maior sucesso do ACS Dumbravita até agora foi a conquista do título da Liga III em 2017. A equipe também chegou à final da Copa da Romênia em 2019, mas foi derrotada pelo CFR Cluj por 1 a 0.
