OFC Bdin (Bulgarian: ОФК Бдин) is a Bulgarian football club based in Vidin, currently (season 2023-2024) playing in the Second Professional League, the second level of Bulgarian football. Its home stadium "Georgi Benkovski" has a capacity of 15 000 seats. The current club color is blue. The club was officially founded in 1923.
History
The club was founded in 1923. In 1946, Bdin reached the Bulgarian Republic Football Championship semi-finals, eliminating Botev Plovdiv and Hadzhi Slavchev Pavlikeni along the way. Bdin also qualified to play in the A PFG in 1948-49 season, the first season of the newly established first tier of Bulgarian football. Bdin could not survive and was relegated, however. The club is yet to return to the first tier, as of 2023.
O clube tem uma longa história, tendo vencido o Campeonato Búlgaro três vezes e a Taça da Bulgária uma vez. Também participou de competições europeias, tendo alcançado as oitavas de final da Taça dos Vencedores das Taças em 1983.
O Bdin Vidin é conhecido por sua forte base de torcedores e por sua atmosfera apaixonada nos jogos em casa. O clube também tem uma rivalidade de longa data com o CSKA Sofia, que é considerado um dos maiores clubes da Bulgária.
Nas últimas temporadas, o Bdin Vidin tem lutado para se manter na Primeira Liga Búlgara. No entanto, o clube tem uma base sólida de jogadores e está determinado a retornar aos seus dias de glória.
